Danny appeared in numerous films by Academy Award-winning director Robert Altman, including “Cookie’s Fortune” (Billy Cox), “The Gingerbread Man” (Sheriff Hope), “O.C. and Stiggs” (Schwab Commercial Singer), “The Caine Mutiny Court Martial” (Captain Randolph Southard), “Tanner ‘88” (as himself), and “Short Cuts” (Aubrey Bell), with the cast winning the Special Award at the 1994 Golden Globes and the Special Volpi Cup at the 1993 Venice Film Festival. He was nominated at Cannes Film Festival for Best Actor for his role as Aubrey Bell in “Short Cuts.”  
Other Television parts include the recurring role of Monty in Aaron Spelling’s “Melrose Place” and Jimmy Kester in “Models Inc.”  
Danny is currently in Nashville recording a new album, entitled “Paintings,” and in pre-production of a new film with producer Michael Altman and directed by Eric Dow.
